No. 198: These Olympic events for Chicago have a few hurdles to clear

We asked readers for Chicago-centric events for the 2016 Chicago Olympics and to name the venue. Usually brevity wins the day in the Challenge, but this time the judges favored an Olympic-size event to win an Olympic pin along with the silver and bronze finishers.

Dan Ryan hurdles: Taking the track-and-field tradition of hurdles to the next logical level, competitors start in upper Indiana where construction on the Dan Ryan begins and jump construction barriers and continue until the construction ends deep in Chicago’s Loop.
